"For me, dance is where all my passions come together; acting, music, the athletic challenge and the urge to create."

I have always felt at home in the art world and studied cello, double bass and dance after school. At a young age, I was fortunate enough to be included in the youth theatre company de Kopergietery, in Ghent. There I was part of the creation of “Satijn en Witte Wijn”, by Eva Bal and Ives Thuwis and of the production “Rennen”, by Ives Thuwis and Gregory Caers. Both productions toured nationally and internationally.

At the age of 15, I put everything into classical ballet and studied at the Royal Ballet School of Antwerp.

Meanwhile,
I am eleven years active as a professional dancer. With classical ballet and contemporary dance as specialisation. I danced as a soloist with repertoire companies Cannes Jeunes Ballet, in France, Gauthier Dance, in Stuttgart and Ballet Zürich, in Switzerland. I worked with top choreographers like William Forsythe, Jiri Kylian, Crystal Pite, Marco Goecke and Ohad Naharin, and toured the world. After these experiences, I felt the urge to become my own boss and went through life as a freelancer. I danced guest performances with Hong Kong Ballet, participated in the Play Practice Residency in Bangalore, India and worked with choreographer Marco Goecke and installation artist Eline Tsvetkova.
In June 2019 I found inspiration and motivation to become part of the company led by Jacopo Godani called; Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company, the former Forsythe Company. A company based on the research of dance and movement with the technical history of William Forsythe as its foundation. A place of constant mental and physical self-development and the endless development and reinvention of ballet and contemporary dance as an art form.
These experiences have helped shape who I am as an artist today.
"A character trait that I have always had is: If I want something, I make it happen!"
